Snapshot Sunday, June 2

So, my new job starts tomorrow and my classes begin again on Tuesday.  (My on-campus classes, anyway; I’ve already started my online class this weekend, trying to get a head start.)  Anyway, it dawned on me Friday that I had let my last day of solitary freedom—Thursday—pass by without any sort of fanfare or savoring of final moments.  Brian was off work Friday, and it’s always nice to have an extra day to spend together, but I know I’ve mentioned many times how critical it is for me to have my alone time for the sake of my sanity.  My best-guess calculations say I might get one hour per night after Brian goes to bed before I also have to hit the sack, three days per week when I don’t have school.  We’ll see if that works out.

Anyway, while I was thinking about that, and trying to reassure myself that plenty of people work and go to school without going crazy, I decided maybe I should try the photo a day challenge again.  It may be that it will turn out to be too much for me, and if so, I’ll stop again, but I’m going to give it a try.

So, for at least a month (I hope!), Snapshot Sunday will go back to being a collection of my weekly PaD images, Sunday-Saturday.  To begin, here’s the prompt list, and my first day installment.

As always, the fun prompts—and the image to go with them—are brought to us by Chantelle at Fat Mum Slim.

1. B is for

Prompt:  B is for—broken, as in the broken branch that’s currently blocking part of our drive and laying it’s tippy-top on our roof.

And that’s the small start, but it is a start.  And now, in keeping with my pledge to try and get a decent amount of sleep even though I will have to start getting up before the crack of dawn (literally), I will watch the news and weather forecast, and then I will turn in.  Happy new week to you all.
